Christmas & New Year Breaks
Have you ever thought of spending
Christmas and/or New Year in Normandy?

Ok lets paint a picture for
you....Many years ago in England people used to spend Christmas and the
New Year getting very excited making decorations, preparing food and
then come Christmas day eating, drinking and making merry! There was a
very 'Olde World' feel about it and things like TV and electronic games
did not spoil the mood. Have you, for example ever dreamt of spending
Christmas evenings in front of a roaring log fire - even roasting
chestnuts?

I suppose that what we are
suggesting is that you could recreate a real Dickensian Christmas more
easily in France. Life certainly moves at a slower pace here and having
a super family Christmas and/or New Year in Normandy is very easy.
Walking off the Christmas and New Year dinner is also possible along
country lanes that hardly have any traffic.

However, we are realists and most of
our gites do have Satellite TV ad DVD players just in case you want to
get rid of the kids for a couple of hours while you build up an appetite
for the next festive meal!
We can arrange, if booked well in
advance. to have food and hampers supplied which can help take care of
some tedious shopping. This can also include some terrific local
produce.
If you don't want to cook then the
many local restaurants should be able fulfil most of your culinary
requirements.
